Jukhtak monastery is located on the wooden forest north to the Dilijan in Tavush district. According to some sources, the monastery was called St. Peter or Gisheravank (Night monastery). The monastery consists of separated two churches and there is the name of the monastery «Jukhtak» (twins). St. Astvatzatzin church of the monastery was built in the beginning of the 13-th century and the exact date of the other church named St. Grigor is unknown.
