During our tour of Artsakh, we visited a lot of castles and monasteries. We went to see the Amaras castle with its monastery.
Exactly there Mesrop Mashtoc founded the first school in Artsakh. Also, we visited Askeran castle, the Dadivank monastery which is located on the left bank of the river Tartar or Trtu in Shahumyan district in Artsakh.
Then we went to Tigranakert castle with a museum in it. Tigranakert is one of the cities founded by Tigran the Great. We also did a tour in wonderful capital of Artsakh Stepanakert.
