Kachaghakaberd is located between Qolatak and Ptrecik villages in Artsakh. It was also known as Khachen fortress. First time it was mentioned in the 8-th century when defending against Arab invasion. It is called Kachaghakaberd (magpie fortress), because it was an inaccessible castle, and only magpies could reach to the top of the mountain up to the castle.

Kanach Zham (Green church) is also known as St. John Mkrtich and located in the city of Shushi in Artsakh. The church was built in 1874.

Kaptavank is situated near village Chinchin in Tavush district. It is a tumble-down church. It is supposed that the church was built in 12 century.

Kaqavaberd is on the right shore of the Azat River in Ararat district. First time It was mentioned by Hovhannes Draskhanakertsi as a Bagratuni’s clan field. Kaqavaberd also known as Geghi. It's supposed that it was built in 9-th century.

The Kayanberd fortress is located in the Lori district in between Haghpat and Sanahin villages. It was built by the monastery archbishop Hovhannes in 1233. It was called Haghpat’s monastery of Soorb Nshan. Kayanberd name was given later.

The monastery complex of Kecharis is situated in Tzakhkadzor town in Kotayk district. It was built by Grigor Magistros in 11-th century. It was one of the most prominent cultural and religious centre of Great Armenia in middle ages. The monastery is consists 4 churches and also there are 12 to 13 century Khachkars in monastery area.

Firs mentions of the Keghenis castle was made during the first Arabs campaign to Armenia during the 7-th century. It is supposed that it was built by Kamsarakans. The Keghenis casttle is one of the most extant castle complex in Armenia. It is situated in Dashtadem village (Aragatzotn region).

The inhabitants of Khndzoresk and the Meliqs (the “heads”) have never betrayed their motherland. The role of the village rose remarkably from 1722-1730 during the national liberation movement. Due to its naturally forbidding location, Khndzoresk became the citadel of Syunik marz.

Khor Virap is located in the Ararat district, near the village Pokr Vedi, on top of a hill. It was known as the pilgrimage place for Grigor the Еnlightener. The Khor Virap is loctaed was royal prison in old Artashat. In middle ages Khor Virap was an educational center.

The monastery complex of Khorakert tower is situated on the western slope of Lalvar mountain, near of the village Jiliza in Lori district. It is supposed that there was a city named Khorakert, which inherit king Ashot's grandson Gurgen, by king Smbat's order. According to the protocols on the west walls of the church, the monastery was built in the middle of the 13-th century. Now the monastery is abandoned and is covered by trees.
