The monastery of Kirants is situated in the village Kirants village in the Tavush district. Kirants was known as Kenan in 7-th century. The monastery consists of 3 churches built in 13-th century. The monastery belonged to armenian Chalcedonian church.

Kobayr monastery is located in the Lori district, on Debit valley. It was one of the most important seats of the written language and cultural centers of Armenia. In the 13-th century, Zakaryans became the rulers of the monastery, instead of Kyurikians and it became to a chalcedon church, turning into a priory. The monastery consists of 2 churches. The oldest one called Mariamashen, as it was built by the daughter of king Kyurike The Second and the other one, which is dilapidated and bigger, was built in the beginning of the 13-th century.

There are a lot of historical monuments preserved in the Kosh village which is located in Aragatzotn district. There is the Saint Stepanos church built in the 7-th century, and from the west of the church there is an old cemetery with khachkars of the 13-th century. In Kosh there are also churches of St.Grigor Lusavorich 13-14 cc. and St.Grigor 19c. In the north part of the village there is a Kosh fortress dating back to 13-th century.

Lmbatavank is situated 2 km to the south-west of Artik in Shirak district. There are no historical protocols about the church,but by architectural analysis it belongs to the 6th century.

City-fortress Lori (Lori berd) is located 5 km to north-east of Stepanavan on the left bank of River Dzoraget. The fortress was founded by David Anhoghin in 11-th century. Ruins of Lori cover about 35 ha and are located on a plateau 1490 m above the sea level. Lori berd was abandoned in 1926-1930s.

The Marmarashen monastery is situated near the village Marmarashen in Shirak district. According to inscriptions the main church was built by Vahram Pahlavuni in the begining of 11-th century. The exact date of the 2 other churches is not known it is supposed that they were built in the same period as the first one.
