Mshkavank is situated near village Koghb, in Tavush district. The exact date of the church's construction is unknown. First time the church was mentioned in the 13-th century. The church was reconstructed in the first begining of the 20-th century.

New Varagavank monastery is situated near Varagavan village in woody mountains. New Varagavan was built by noble Davit in the late 12-th century. The oldest church was called Anapat, and the other one St. Astvatzatzin was built by the son of noble Davit, by Vasak 2 in 13-th century.

Noratus is famous with its khachkars. On the villages’ southern large cemetery there are many khachkars belonging to the 13-17th centuries. There are group of cross-stones on family cemeteries and there are also smaller tombs here, with cross-stones placed on top of them.

The Noravank monastery is situated in Vayots Dzor district. According to some protocols the monastery was built on the St. Pokas same place. Noravank was built in 13-th century. The main church of the monastery was built by Liparit Orbelian in 13-th century.

The exact date of foundation of the church located at the centre of Odzun village in Lori district is not known.
Based on the architectural analysis the church was constructed in the 6th century.
In the church area, there is a pillar tomb built in the 5-7 cc.

As a result of the excavations which was done late in the 20-th century, they found a number of medieval churches. The oldest church was constructed in the 5-th century, also there are 6,11 and 17-th cc. churches. The only scatheless church is St. Astvatzatzin, which was built in the 17-th century.

Proshaberd or Boloraberd fortress is situated in the Vayots Dzor district. It was built by prince Prosh in the 13-th century, the name of the castle came from here, Proshaberd «Prosh's berd(castle)». According to the legend the Proshaberd was defeated only after a thirsty mule cut the water supply to the castle. The exact date when the castle was destroyed is unknown.

Ptghni is located in Kotayk district. Ptghni monastery was constructed in 6-7-th cc. by Manuel Amatuni. The monastery was big enough, with many architectural values, but it is dilapidated now.

The monastery complex of Saghmosavank is situated in the Aragatzotn district, in the village Saghmosavan. The main church of the monastery St. Sion, was built by Vache Vachotyan, and the other church of the monastery is St. Holy Virgin. The monastery was built in the 13-th century, in the church area there are also khachkars and a cemetery.

Sanahin monastery is situated in the Lori district, near Alaverdi and was built by Ashot G. Merciful. The monastery is consists of 2 churches, St. Holy Mother and Savior. Sanahin is similar to Haghpat by it's architecture, and as Haghpat is included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
