The exact date of foundation of the church located at the centre of Odzun village in Lori district is not known.
Based on the architectural analysis the church was constructed in the 6th century.
In the church area, there is a pillar tomb built in the 5-7 cc.
Also, there is a Tsiranavor - Tsaghkavank church built in the 5th century in Odzun village.
