During this daily off-road trip we will visit Lake Sevan, will visit Goshavank Monastery and will also travel to Kalavan village. On the way we will  enjoy the beauty of the Lake Sevan. During the day we will enjoy fresh air, panoramic views, village hospitality and mistique of spiritual life. After all we will return to Yerevan. Price is per vehicle that can take from one to four passengers.

Days

We will meet early in the morning in Yerevan and drive to the North to Tavush region. The way will pass along the Lake Sevan, which is the largest lake in the Caucasus as well as one of the largest, and highest freshwater lakes of the world and is located on 1900m above sea level. We will visit Gosh monastery, built in XII century, and famous with its university and scholars who lived and worked there. During many centuries the Monastery was one of the most important religious and educational centers of Armenia. After visiting the monastery we will continue our way to Kalavan village, where we will meet an archeologist who will tell us about scientific excavations of Stone Age human settlements in the area of the village. We will visit a replica site of such a settlement in the dense oak forest and will see how those humans lived those times. Then we will be hosted by the family of the archeologist for a tasty lunch. After lunch we will have a good and interesting time in the area and will admire the beauty of the surrounding nature. Leaving Kalavan we will drive to Dilijan town, have a little walk and will visit a carpenter. Then we will drive back to Yerevan full of memories of the day.

Transportation by Toyota Land Cruiser or similar vehicles, guiding and visits to mentioned sites. Price is per vehicle that can carry from 1 to 4 passengers.
