During this daily winter snowshoe hiking tour we will drive towards Ara mountain through Nor Yerznka village. We will climb to the top of the mountain, will have a fascinating panoramic view of the Ararat Mountain, Ararrat valley, Aragats mountain, Geghama mountain ridge. We will have picnic lunch on the slopes of Ara. After descending we will visit Tsaghkevank church. Leaving the church we will drive back to Yerevan.
We will meet early in the morning and will head to the North towards mount Ara ( 2577m.) passing through New Yerznka village. At the slopes we will take our snowshoes and will climb up to the top of Ara mountain. From the top we will have fantastic panoramic view of the surroundings. We will see Biblical Ararat Mountain, Ararat valley, the highest mountain of Armenia Aragats (4090m) and Geghama mountain ridge. Enjoying the view we will descend from the mountain and on the slopes will have a picnic lunch. After it we will visit Tsaghkevank church, called by the locals St. Varvara church, hewn in the rock. Leaving the church we will get back to Yerevan.
Transportation by Toyota Land Cruiser or similar vehicles, guiding and visits to mentioned sites. Price is per vehicle that can carry from 1 to 4 passengers.
Meal that can be ordered additionally with a cost of up to 12 $ per person.
